Sexy A to Z – R

I am sharing something each day (not always every day in a row) covering the alphabet until I reach Z!  Here we are at day 18!  I am sharing topics having to do with sex, BDSM and/or kink.  These topics are of things I am curious to learn about, love to know more about or just love to share.

If you have anything to add or have something else in that alphabet letter to share, please do so in the comments below.

Today’s sexy letter of the alphabet is:

R: Role Play-

Definitions:

-To act and speak as if you are the character you’re portraying. To roleplay is as much about what not to say as what TO say. It means to keep your speech in the context of the setting in which your character (or avatar) exists. Context can be defined as both time and place. (Urban Dictionary)

-1: to act out the role of
2: to represent in action (Merriam-Webster)
-Make-believe and playing dress-up does not have to end when you grow up. Role playing is when people take on characters outside of their day-to-day lives as part of a sex scene. Common examples include doctor-patient (medical role play), boss-secretary, or pool boy–rich housewife. And who can forget the classic: schoolgirl-professor? While role playing often comes with costumes and is a fabulous excuse to dress up, costumes are not required. Scenes can be created through dirty talk and pure imagination. Feel free to use role playing to tap into alter egos or your favorite fictional characters. (Glamour.com)

Personally

Do you like role play?  Is it part of your kink or fetish?

Me? I enjoy diving into a role and playing it out.  Whether it be a school girl being disciplined or a naughty maid enticing the head of the house.  Or even just role playing a sexy woman in corset, stockings and heels.  Role playing to me ramps up the sexy connection between partners.  Makes it fun and sexy prior and during sex.

Brings that extra sexy something to the norm.  Keeps you both from becoming bored with the same thing over and over.  Granted, I like straight out sex like the next person.  Both the love-making sex or the down-and-dirty sex, but to have this other part helps too.

What do you think?

Next up I will be sharing the Letter S!
