I have always held things in, made sure all around me were happy, acting like I was okay at all times. Had always been told that no one wants to hear your problems because they don’t care and being down brings others down. Didn’t want others to worry about me, I would be okay and there are so many others out in the world dealing with things much worse than me.

But doing this all the time wears a person down, makes a person feel they are alone and is completely exhausting. So much so a person will start looking elsewhere for happiness and understanding.

I know. I have been there. More than once. I am learning to deal with these things and to realize when I am getting to the point where I need to stop, take a breath, and know it’s time to work with boundaries, self-love, and work through the thought and actions bringing me down.

It’s taking time and understanding, but I am getting there and know there are others out there doing the same.

Love you all❣️

  1. As I am a submissive I am going to say something that might sound like it is not a thing a submissive would say but this is a lesson S. taught me. Your Master or Sir wants you to take good care of yourself so he might enjoy you more fully. I am speaking of emotional health but it also encompasses your physical being too. What you share with your partner is something sacred and this does not mean how you serve him.

This is about the rest of the world sweetheart. If you give to every other person at the detriment of yourself it will slowly wear you down and will definitely affect your relationship. It IS exhausting to try to help everyone and will drag you down. Aside from your partner and your relationship, do everything you can to be healthy. Do things that make you stronger not weaker. You can be kind to others and that is fine but cut loose the things that drag you down. I used to be just like the person that gives to everyone but not any more. If I can help I will but not if they are asking for something I can’t afford to give. kat you are an amazing and beautiful person and you adore your Master/Sir with all your heart. It is possible to give him even more love by taking good care of yourself. I bet he would agree with me.

    1. Thank you so much! I started tearing up reading this! Yes, I am working on it, doing better and knowing my boundaries more every day. You are wonderful for saying this and know you are a blessing to S. every day! ❤️xx

  2. I get this, I really do. It’s so easy to meet the needs of others at the expense of yourself. And to force down your own difficulties in fear of being a ‘downer’ or a burden to others. I’m glad you’re getting there, me too. Work in progress…x
